Kim Gillespie was born in Flagstaff Arizona. When she was 7 her family moved to the White Mountains of Arizona. A beautiful area, where people still wave at their neighbors.

With a natural talent, Kim is a self taught artist, thankful for the ability to capture moments that capture hearts. Her attention to the slightest detail gives her work a lifelike feeling.

In July 2006 Kim was invited to "The Best Of The West" art show as an "Up and Coming Artist". At this show her watercolor, "The Babysitter" won the prestigious Peoples Choice award. With the constant encouragement of her husband, family and friends, Kim decided to pursue her art full time. "I am fortunate to be able to do what I love and capture the life I live in my artwork."
