This impressive reproduction replica non-firing .45 Single Action is a reproduction of the pistol that was custom made for U.S. Marshal Bat Masterson in 1885. It was designed for him specifically incorporating his personal tastes and desires to maximize his survivability in a gunfight. It is accurate in its detail, to include the gunsmith’s mark (a numeral “1”) on the loading gate, and detailed cross hatching on the hammer spur. The front site was made “a little higher and thicker than the ordinary pistol of this kind.”
This classic antique reproduction is finished in fine nickel plating and burnished to a gleaming and smooth touch. The result is a magnificent embodiment of the Western Frontier spirit. The detail of this replica is exacting, right down to a claw shaped scratch on the side plate. Cock the hammer with your thumb and hear the positive click of the precisely machined ratchet advancing the cylinder. Squeeze the trigger and experience the unusually quick acting hammer and release, honed to the designers preference.
This gun is completely non-firing although the action works and is made especially for the western gun enthusiast. There are no special permits or restrictions required to purchase.
