Period correct 1800's style Mexican Loop holsters and gun belt. The Cowboy Dualist features two strong arm holsters (or choose left or right hand crossdraw) hand cut from the same high quality 10-11 ounce vegetable tanned Premium grade leather as all of our unlined outfits. The holsters are hand cut and wet molded to your gun model for a perfect fit. The throat of the holsters are carefully flared to create a funnel effect allowing for a fast draw and re-holster without any catches or having to use two hands to re-holster. The Cowboy gun rig is one of our most popular Mexican Loop holsters among starting and more advanced cowboy action shooters, stage and working cowboys, backcountry horsemen and hunters. The authentic single layer holster pattern was used widely in the 1800's by the Mexican Vaqueros, Arizona Rangers and Texas Rangers. Since the Mexican Loop style holster rides high on the belt, Cowboy Mounted Shooters find it provides a very comfortable ride with easy draw and fast one handed re-holster. You won't have to sqeeze the throat like you might see people have to do with lesser quality gunleather or a poorly designed system. You can't beat the price either which is why if your just getting started its the perfect set-up!You can always move up to a fully lined rig for a top-of-the-line outfit. The holsters can be made with two loops (for barrel lengths 5-1/2" or greater) or one loop configuration for any barrel length...you choose.
