Full of petroglyph, bird, corn stalk, and turtle symbols and designs, each piece is hand crafted and linked together to fashion a status symbol of wealth and prosperity. Seventeen concho's in all. Each hand made concho is 1-1/2" in diameter. What is overlaid?? Overlay is created by "sweating" or soldering, two pieces of silver together. The top piece contains a design element which is meticulously cut out of silver. The bottom piece is oxidized and often textured to produce a contrasting background. Then carefully filed, buffed and polished to produce this fine finish.
