Originally developed as a non-firing replica to commemorate the 200th anniversary of the U.S. Marshals, this world class replica has not been available for nearly 20 years. Bill Hickok carried a pair of these elaborately engraved revolvers by his side until the time of his murder during a poker game in Deadwood, South Dakota in 1876. To this day the hand he was holding at the time (Aces & Eights) is still known as "Dead Man's Hand".
This re-creation is a masterpiece of the gunsmith's art, sheathed in gleaming nickel with every screw, spring and fitting in full working order. Every sculpted detail of the bald eagle, America's symbol of freedom, is captured in the grip of this magnificent antique replica gun. The intricate scrollwork of this famous old west pistol includes the powerful portrayal of a naval battle on the cylinder. Every detail is emphasized by the hand-rubbed patina.
