Reportedly, this is the style pistol Pat Garrett used when he shot "Billy The Kid" in 1881. This style is as cavalry single action revolver with 7" barrel. Action works. Spin the cylinder, cock the hammer and pull the trigger. Deluxe nickel finish with wood grips. Mounted on frame is a miniature portrait of Pat Garrett taken shortly before the shooting, a replica silver badge he wore as Sheriff, Lincoln County and a brass pistol identification plaque.18" X 7".
