The Colt 1860 Army .44 Caliber Revolver is one of the most historical of all black powder revolvers and needs no introduction to the shooter or collector. Technological advances in metallurgy allowed the development of this harder hitting .44 caliber revolver, which was sleeker and more lightweight than the old Dragoons. The cylinder has authentic roll engraving. The brass trigger guard is highly polished, and the steel strap cut for a shoulder stock. The frame, loading lever and hammer are beautifully finished in color case hardening. The precision rifled 8" barrel is made of ordnance steel. It is finished in a deep custom blue. With genuine walnut grips, this classical black powder gun is a collector's dream and is also an outstanding shooter.
